Dear Auburn Community Concert Members and Friends;

The Auburn Community Concert Association has been presenting concerts in Auburn for 65 wonderful years. Our mission has been to provide quality musical programs to our community at an affordable cost to you.

We do not have any paid staff - just lots of dedication by a very hard working group of volunteers. Our members, patrons, and volunteers are the "glue" that helps to keep our organization fiscally responsible. Over the past few years we have experienced a decline in both our membership and volunteers. It is essential that we have a thriving, and growing, membership and volunteers, in order continue our concerts.

Our Board of Directors has elected not to present a 2011-12 concert season. During this time we will evaluate our finances, and review our marketing and operating procedures, with the goal of presenting a new concert season for 2012-13.

During this next year we hope that you will use this time to support the many cultural programs in our area, i.e., Placer Arts, Auburn Placer Performing Arts Center (APPAC) at the State Theater, the Auburn Symphony, etc. Be sure to keep a check on our web page (www.auburncommunityconcerts.org) for updates.

We also wish to take this opportunity to thank all of our members, and especially our many patrons, who have supported us in bringing outstanding musical programs to Auburn for 65 years!!
